Suggestions of where to go on holiday with a 1 year old?

Any suggestions on where we could go on holiday? I feel like we've looked absolutely everywhere but can't settle on anywhere. We've been to quite a lot of places before DC so don't necessarily want to go back where we've been before but then can't settle on where to go that's somewhere new to us!

We have a DC who is one. We don't need an apartment, we're happy to have a hotel room that fits a cot in as long as there's a balcony for us to sit on while DC is asleep!

Criteria:
-Warm enough to go in the pool/has a heated pool
-Not anywhere too busy where there will be booming music all night so we can't get any sleep
-Not in the middle of nowhere where there's nothing to do except sit round the pool
-Walkable to restaurants and shops etc, maybe somewhere we can go on day trips but with a 1 year old the day trip bit is less important as long as we can walk to a nice town for a mooch or walk along a promenade on the beach or something like that
-either room only, bed and breakfast or half board. Half board ideally, but again this means we need somewhere walkable to restaurants for dinner. Not really interested in all inclusive as we get bored of the food and end up eating out anyway!
-budget depends on whether it's room only, half board etc but up to £2000 for half board, less if it's room only to give us more spending money for eating out. (This is for 7 days, and with our DC being 1 they will be free)

Can't think of anything else for now!

We always did Cala d' Or when ours were babies, family friendly restaurants , marina and a short flight

www.hotelcaladifalco.com/en/ We stayed here when dd was 15 months. Choice of studios or hotel rooms. You can get meal packages, or eat ad hoc in the restaurants, but the town is 5 mins walk and there were plenty of choices.

I was also going to say Cala d'Or :) It's great for families.

Thanks for the suggestions! I've always wanted to go Sardinia but after looking at Cala D'Or that looks like it could be the perfect place so fingers crossed we can actually get going with booking now!

I haven't been to Mallorca for years, my memories of it were going to Alcudia so I wasn't really aware of how nice other areas are! ☺️

As mentioned above Majorca is great, Calla miller, Cala Bona and Sa coma are also worth a look

Tenerife worked for us, lots of promenades to walk along in the evening.

I always liked Benalmadena with a baby as you can walk for miles along the promenade with a pram. Short transfer and lots to do.
