Bluestone/Center Parcs alone with 13&10 year old?

DH will be away next summer so I'm thinking of taking my sons to somewhere like Center Parcs or Bluestone, I just want something easy for 5 days in August. We did Center Parcs many years ago the 4 of us. Is there enough for pre teens? I appreciate we could do more for the money elsewhere, but I'm just looking for ease really and would miss DH if we did something abroad.

Same ages and I wouldn’t take them to CP, no

ive booked an air bnb in Spain and we’re going there for 3 nights

It was perfect when under 10 though and loved it

your dh will be away anyway so if you fancy a long weekend abroad… surely go for it!

I think for ease, yes. CP has been great under age 8, but at those ages (when they can easily wheel their own suitcase through an airport and cope with long waits!) I’d rather do something a bit more adventurous. But you could do swimming, bowling, pool, tennis, badminton, water stuff, mini golf, restaurants, climbing, archery etc. If you do most of that stuff at home anyway I’d save your money and enjoy a lazy week at home with day trips.

So a bit of a u turn, spoke to the kids about it and they've asked to go to Rome for a few days, we were supposed to go to Italy before DH was going away, going to slim it down a bit though and just do Rome and save a bit of money to maybe to a Euro city weekend break as well when DH gets back. DH and I have been to Rome before so don't feel too guilty about!
