Can anyone tell me what's included in the accommodation fee? Im thinking of going to the Lommerbergen one and trying to compare versus the Eperheide center parcs as the accommodation is slightly cheaper.

Is there included access to the pool at Landal? How about the petting farm and softplay centre? Are activities when there reasonably priced? Anyone have any reviews of Lommerbergen?

I haven't been to that one, but have been to a few others. The onsite facilities such as pool / zoo / softplay etc are always included. But you'd pay for planned activities and things like bowling, minigolf etc. It's the same set up as CP really but as you say, cheaper. Accommodation is fine, but normally basic. Het Vennenbos is similar to De Lommerbergen I think and we enjoyed that. We went to Hoog Vaals lots of times when dd was little but the pool there is not a big fancy one. Limburg is lovely though - drielandenpunkt where you can stand in 3 countries at once, with look out tower and maze. Some nice castles. And a steam train. Maastricht, Valkenburg, Monschau all nearby and nice for a day out.

Also look at Roompot.com and Duinrell.

thanks for this. I have very young kids so I dont think we'll need many paid attractions, but I'll check out Het Vennenbos if it's similar.

We’ve been to Lommerbergen. The pool and softplay and petting zoo is included in the price. The accomodation is a bit outdated, there are renovated houses, but also old smelly ones (we had one of those…) The pool is nice. At Landal you must make your own bed and bring your own towels.

Centre parcs in the Netherlands is often a lot more outdated then it is in the UK, I prefer Landal. At this moment we are staying in a UK-centre parcs and we are surprised how nice it is!
