Self catering in Amsterdam

Finding it really difficult to get self catering for family of 4 in Amsterdam in June. Most options are hotels or hostels. Anything I have found is very expensive. Considering Amsterdam East. Does anyone have suggestions / recommendations?

There are loads of Air BnB flats that are really central. We stayed in one near the zoo a few years ago.

The city has really cracked down on Airbnb and similar, you can only rent out for something like 60 days a year so a lot have just gone back to regular renting, thankfully.

Yays has a couple of locations in Amsterdam, it's an aparthotel, that or a similar aparthotel are probably your best options unless you're happy to stay outside of Amsterdam.
