Passport confirmation email HELP

I've just applied for a passport and after payment it just went straight back to the first page that says apply for passport. No confirmation page. Checked email - no confirmation email. Checked bank - money has gone out. It's been 12 hours. Still no confirmation email. Have also checked spam

Is there a number you can ring?
I’ve just got a passport, there were emails confirming every stage, so it sounds like yours hasn’t gone through.

Are you sure it was a legitimate website? Try and ring them.

Can you log in to the application at all - I've no idea. I'm wondering if you've somehow made a mistake with your email address or used an email address you don't often use. Is there a reference number with the payment in your banking app?

So I've called and they said sometimes it can crash and can take 24 hours to go through. They won't have it yet tho either. Just done my partner's and got text, email and confirmation page. I defo had correct email and mobile number as my phone does it for me. They've taken the money. Just annoying as holiday is in 6 weeks so already worried they won't come in time

Just spoke with someone else at the passport office and they said confirmation comes straight away and doesn't take up to 24 hours so something went wrong and the money will be returned to me in five days.

This has just happened to me. Did you just reapply online? The first time, did you get to the page where you have to put the details in of the counter signatures? Panicking!

its just happened to me today 😭 what did you do? Taken my money but no confirmation and after ringing they’ve just said to wait!

If it's any help I applied online for my passport on a sat, end of April. New passport was with me Tuesday the week after, so just over a week from beginning to end.

Can someone please tell me what happened after this happened to them? It’s just happened to me! I think it’s disgusting that it’s done this to so many people

That happened to me right now. What did you guys do finally? How long took for the money ro be refunded?

I've just applied for my husbands passport and we've had the reference and can log in but it says checking application. No where to put the details to confirm his identity. Money has also come out but no email or text.

What did you do in thd end pleas? Exactly the same has just happened to me..Thank you
