Gatwick hotel and car parking

Hi looking for ds for a Gatwick flight 10am so a hotel the evening before and four days parking. Have never flown from Gatwick before so wonder if anyone has an recommendations for a smooth (and cheap) experience

For either north or south terminal, we do valet parking which is just a few steps to the terminal
When you return, go to collection point and get keys back and off you go!

We always do valet parking at Gatwick. The price is better the further you book it in advance, but I actually think it's pretty reasonable anyway.

Sofitel does parking and night at hotel beforehand, used it before and used the tram to take us to the terminal

We always stay and park at Sofitel when flying from Gatwick . It's linked to the north terminal so it's super convenient .

Just stayed at the Sofitel before an early flight. Best decision ever. Car was waiting for us on our return, Maple parking I think it was called. So simple

If he's going from North terminal we always stay at the premier inn that's right at the terminal opposite the valet parking - make sure you get the on site one though as there's another one 5 minutes down the road.

Yes to the Valet parking too. Very easy to use and zero waiting around.

We use Purple Parking - offsite but with frequent transfers.
Then stay at Premier Inn - the transfer bus stops very close to it.
