Honeymoon

Hi.

Just wondering what peoples ideas/recommendations on honeymoons were?

Has anyone been on a safari and then to maldives/Seychelles. Which of these would you recommend and are there any specific hotels/islands.

We went to the Maldives for our honeymoon. Maafushivaru. Very quiet and relaxing, which was just what we were looking for. The staff spoilt us rotten!

Safari, would not do again, Maldives stayed at the Conrad, again would not visit again as I hated being confined to eating places and the rip off cost of the sea plane, and the drinks costs. Villas were lovely though.

But depends on your budget your likes and dislikes, do you want to spend all your time in one place (Maldives etc) or have a bit of a multi centre , say Thailand, couple days in Bangkok then a island/other area, on and on.....

Not for honeymoon but we have been on a few safaris.
we really enjoyed Serengeti and Zanzibar, but also enjoyed a safari and beach in South Africa.
