Long weekend post GCSEs for me and my 2 teens

I'm looking for inspiration for a weekend away, 3 nights max as youngest still in school but conveniently have a teacher training day at end of June so going to make the most of it. The teens are both boys. I don't want to spend too long travelling. Our last holiday was gran canaria in October and we loved chilling after a horrendous few months. I will ask them what they would like to do but hoping for some inspiration as I'm sure I'll need to narrow down the options for them. Thoughts so far are a city break like Edinburgh or Copenhagen or Amsterdam, or a chill out break in the sun, or something with some activity/ies. It doesn't need to be abroad but I'd like it to be a little bit special. DS1 swims but otherwise they don't have any particular hobbies or sports. They do enjoy water sports like kayaking and paddle boarding. Budget is max £2k.

Iceland is a great weekend destination and beautiful scenery, things to do for teens and adults.

Centre parcs? Either home or in the Netherlands?

Berlin is a brilliant city break - so interesting, not too expensive, parks to relax in and just so much to see. My teen DD really enjoyed it.

In the UK, Edinburgh as you mentioned is a fabulous city. Lots to do, mostly in walking distance.

We have always enjoyed cycle tours in cities so would recommend this!

Amsterdam we liked but it was very busy and we wished we had gone mid week rather than over a weekend. However again lots to see and if you do go, book the Anne Frank house tickets asap.

Lisbon or Bilbao

Thanks for the ideas, some there that I hadn't thought of. Iceland might be a good one to do.
