Help me to choose?

I'm booking a family holiday (for 2 adults, 1 teen, 1 baby).

We want to go early to mid May, currently I'm stuck between Greece (Kos - Kardamena) and Majorca...

Would anyone recommend either for this time of year? We plan to go all inclusive but also like leaving the resort to stroll around shops and cafes and other attractions.

Prices are roughly the same for both destination.

Help me choose please?!

Go to Kos, beautiful place

Thanks @Loopyanna I am definitely staying towards Kos! I'm doing the usual thing of over thinking everything in the process 😅

Will it be warm enough, will the pool be freezing, what if the baby hates flying?! 😂🙈

Kos is beautiful but I'd go majorca. Its a little bit less hot. I think kos will be uncomfortable for the little one and you who I'm guessing will end up carrying her/baby stuff.

Kos is beautiful although the weather hasn't settled into being consistently and predictably warm and sunny start of the month (which may be preferable with young ones mind!) you'd need to check if pools were heated at that time with those ages, we stayed in a beautiful 5* resort in Kos but they didn't have heated pools.

Thanks for the replies!

The pool temperature is one of the big things that I'm second guessing now 🥶 the big one won't mind but the little one won't be able to play if the water is too cold.

I'm now wandering whether to wait a few more weeks and go in June instead.

Do you think it would make much difference?

@MamaMiaOhDear June makes quite a difference to Kos, I only know as we've been a couple of times right at the end of May/beginning of June and each time I tracked the weather religiously and both times it was a bit rainy start of May then switched to constant sun 30C from about May 20th!!

Pools were cold mind, even in 30C heat, you get used to it but it was a bit off putting for my youngest.
