Paris Trip - Dairy Allergy

HI, we've been wanting to take our 14 year old son to Paris for ages to see the sites etc. He has a major dairy allergy. I think of France as dairy central. Any tips on this. searching the web there are loads of vegan restaurants in Paris but any other advice would be much appreciated. Including places to stay

Many thanks

My DD is lactose intolerant. We went to France last year on holiday. We learnt the phrase " My daughter is allergic to dairy" in French and found people in restaurants and shops very helpful. Plenty of dairy free options in the supermarkets too. All the ice cream places had lots of sorbets to choose from, that was a real highlight for her!

My DS has a nut allergy. We went to Paris last year and I had the phrase ‘are there nuts In this, my son is allergic’ in French saved as a photo on my phone to show everywhere. As per @yumscrumfatbum’s experience, we everyone was v helpful.
