Just that really!

Somewhere warm. At least for half of the year. I’m in Scotland and the weather depresses me.

I want to be outside sitting in the sunshine.

Lake Como? Andalusia? Anywhere really

Lake Como is beautiful but it's certainly not warm in the winter, it's up in the mountains, you can ski nearby.

Cap Ferrat (in the Rothschild villa, if possible).

I’d quite like to live in Eileen Gray’s Cap Martin villa. Or on the Beara peninsula.

Cheeriochoc · 18/02/2023 23:46

A log cabin in Lapland

PledgeDusterMop · 18/02/2023 23:49

I’m another who’d love to live in west Wales .

Mumoftwoinprimary · 18/02/2023 23:52

I’ve been binge watching Death in Paradise and so think that I would rather like to live in Saint Marie.

Although the fact that it is a fictional place and that a lot of people seem to end up dead does put me off a bit.

reddingweddy · 18/02/2023 23:55

Somewhere that's 23 degrees in the daytime all year round, and where the sun rises at 6am and sets at 11pm, also all year round.

PurpleParrots · 18/02/2023 23:57

I consider myself fortunate to be living in West Wales. I have no plans to move.

WordtoYoMumma · 18/02/2023 23:58

South Wales. My heart is there and always will be. I hope one day to retire by the sea in south Wales.

Singapore. Easiet, nicest, safest place I’ve ever lived. However, and it’s a big one, I was earning enough to live there comfortably at the time and so would need to be able to afford it in future. Which wouldn’t be easy forever.

Tanktop · 19/02/2023 00:03

Funchal Madeira. I have been fortunate enough to visit lots of countries for business and pleasure and absolutely love everything about this island. Lovely people, scenery, ocean, food and amazing all year round perfect climate. Perfect.

Imnotdrinkingmerlot · 19/02/2023 00:11

New Zealand - North of South Island. But would really need teleportation so I could nip back to see family.

Or an island near Stockholm. Close enough but I'm not rich enough!

I'd have said the same but apparently it's "grope women on the subway" level of creepy

Wahoo! Brucey bonus! Usually the only holiday romance I get is a pat down at customs lol.

Nomsantuli · 19/02/2023 05:53

Nah you don't want to live here it dead boring no culture.

MmedeGouge · 19/02/2023 06:06

Lake Como, just a small villa would be satisfactory, and a boat.
Perhaps a chauffeur too.

I'd like to live in North Wales but property prices are high and it's 'dead men's shoes' for most of them.

Mothership4two · 22/05/2023 02:59

The Isles of Scilly but as that's never going to happen Devon

Judgyjudgy · 22/05/2023 03:03

Somewhere hot, next to a beautiful beach. Somewhere chilled out, with nice people, good food but also where something is always happening. I like the idea of Greece, India or Mexico. Dreams are free ✨️

It's nice to read these posts and I hope at least some of you make it happen. I've done it, I now live where I've dreamed of living since I was a child. If you get the opportunity go for it, even if it's just for a couple of years.

That is so lovely 😊

LemonTreeSkies · 22/05/2023 03:20

I live in western canada in an absolutely place which is perfect for me “now”.

However I think it will stop being perfect and I’m not sure where my next idyllic place is

standardduck · 22/05/2023 03:26

San Diego. Because of perfect weather (for me).

DaftyLass · 22/05/2023 03:58

I live on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, so I am pretty good with what I have. I am surrounded by mountains, forests, orchards and vineyards, amazing waterfalls, beaches to die for for and still only a quick ferry ride to the mainland if I want to go to Vancouver.

46mumof6 · 22/05/2023 05:12

In the U.K. north Norfolk, Cromer area by the sea.
The world New Zealand never been but seems beautiful and looks a good way to live

San Diego. Because of perfect weather (for me).

High Sierras in the summer.
6700 feet elevation.

San Diego in the winter.
I’m with you, @standardduck
