Family all inclusive

Looking to book an all inclusive holiday for a family of 4, children age 6 and 7. I have no idea where to start as I don't trust review websites that much!

Looking to spend less than £5k for the week, excluding flights, not too fussed about a "kids club" per se as I think mine would hate it as they would want to spend their holiday with us, ideally something with lots of things for children to do without being too child centric, must have a variety of restaurants, access to a sandy beach and nice accommodation where you don't feel too on top of other people.

I like the look of the Ikos resorts but theyre out of budget

I've been looking for next year, a bit family holiday to celebrate the lives of my-in-laws. The Dominican republic is cheaper than the med, but you may get some not so good days. We caught the very edge of a hurricane and had a couple of showers but we still went in the pool.

Does it have to be guaranteed sun? Otherwise look at Kinderhotels in Germany or Austria.
There are normally lakes for swimming, tons of things to do and plenty of options to go off on your own.
You may need a car though.
