Marina Bay Sands Singapore

Wondering if anyone can help. My DH is off on a conference and the conference base is going to be the Marina Bay Sands. Does anyone know if there is anywhere in such an enormous hotel that would be a quiet spot he could escape to, when not needing to be at the conference. His hotel is half an hour away so not easy to nip back to his room for a bit of peace and quiet. (The website is not particularly useful in this regard). TIA.

I’m not sure about in the hotel itself but there’s a massive shopping mall (with all the usual eateries/coffee shops) attached as well as Gardens by the bay next door if he fancies a walk.

Can't recall how close Gardens by the Bay were. I'm sure we walked it but may be miss remembering. Lots of quiet places outside by the river.

The rooftop bar is nice, the gardens are nice but Singapore can feel a bit too hot and humid sitting outside.

The rooftop bar is amazing, but I wouldn’t call it a quiet spot! Like others have said, the adjoining mall should have some options.

Can you not join him and make a trip of it? 😊 DP and I try to do that on each other’s work trips.

There are benches all around the Marina by the water but it's hot to sit outside. Plenty of small cafés in that area though.

Gardens by the bay, MBS shopping Mall is under the hotel, there are very quiet places in the gardens if you walk away from the hotel. The lily pond is often quieter.

Lots of cafes in the mall, also the MRT is easy to use so depending on the time he has he could hop on that?

There is a rooftop at the Capita Spring Building that would be quiet. Not far to walk.

Thanks all. Considered it as a family trip, but decided it's mega bucks for the air fare for somewhere we may do in the future en route to NZ to visit family......
I shall let him know the possible options. Yes humidity is definitely an issue with sitting outside!
