Recommend me a hotel great for kids

We enjoyed a trip to a hotel with onsite waterpark and aircon in Paphos last year.

Have you been anywhere Meditteranean that you'd highly recommend to go with a 9 yr old?

Ideally: kids club, onsite or fairly close waterpark, decent varied food, some evening entertainment. Comfortable and air con is now an essential, I slept so much better.

Stella Palace in Crete. The water park is incredible but Stella Palace really feels like a lovely 5* resort with kids club, animation team etc. There is also Stella Village that is the more budget option on site that also shares the water park.
