Smoking on Holiday

Which is the best country in Europe to go on Holiday that is smoking friendly? My husband and I are 20 a day cigarette smokers and my 2 daughters smoke about 15 a day each as well. We really miss our cigarettes if we cannot smoke regularly due to restrictions in hotels etc. We don't expect to smoke indoors, but we enjoy smoking on hotel balconies and by the pool and in outdoor bars etc.

I would say Eastern Europe is probably your best bet.

If you all quit and saved the money next year you could go to the Maldives or Seychelles as within 12 months you will have saved about £22,000.

I went to Tunisia once and they smoked everywhere. 🚬

and she smoked to her hearts content.

Lol

People had a lax attitude to smoking regulations in Italy, people smoked by no smoking signs!

I am completely fascinated by this. Cigarettes in UK are like £12 a pack no? And you buy a pack every day?! Boggled at the idea of that actually being affordable, wild.

I have just priced cigarettes on the Tesco website. The OP and her family get through 70 cigarettes a day. At 51p each that is about £250 a week.

The mind boggles.

Not on the black market it’s not….

I have no idea how much black market cigarettes are.

It's a new law in Tenerife, and all of Spain. Even smoking on the beach is banned now. It came in in January but some hotels have designated areas for a while now.

I'm pleased they've done that, sounds brilliant

I quit quite a while ago and have no idea how I afforded it. Was on 30 a day

Let us know where you've booked so I can be sure to avoid it 😂
