70th Birthday treat in summer - would you recommend.......

1. tea at the Ritz, with pre-tea visit to Rigby & Peller for a fitting and a laugh?

1. trip to Hampton Court Palace flower show?

My mothers birthday is in July and looking for something special to do with her. Prob just the two of us although could include 18 mnth old if is outdoors.

obviously not knowing your Mum, hard to say. 1 and 2 sound great. What about a pampering day for the both of you? I'm sure your Mum loves having your little one around, but might appreciate some one-on-one time with you for a change? (or was this to involve other people too?)
