Best part of Majorca for families.

Have decided against normal camping trip this year and will be doing a package hol, albeit self catering.

Decided on Majorca as more affordable. I went as a child and younger adult myself and just remember it been very beautiful with mountains and cove like beaches. But where to go with a family?

DC are 5 and 10, i know I don't want the bust south west near Palma, like the look of Cal d'Or but that might be too quiet?

Any recommendations of where to go? I just want somewhere to keep the kids busy, especially the 10 year old.

I think Majorca is a great idea. Beautiful and short flight. We love Puerto Pollensa because of the lack of high rises.

Love Puerto pollensa and pollenca itself. Been going there since I was a child. Nice beaches, restaurants etc.

Puerta Pollensa or Illetas. I preferred Illetas but it's about 10 years or more since we last went.

Another vote for Puerta Pollensa. Very nice place and has pretty much everything you need for a family holiday.

We're going to Cala Millor this year again with DS, who will be nearly 5. Nice beach, lots to do and family friendly without being too noisy. There are a couple of amusement parks for kids that are open on a night, so it's a nice balance.

Good options for boat trips and nice chilled out atmosphere. If you stay towards the southern part of the resort, as we do, it's quiet on a night whilst being close enough to restaurants etc, and you've also got Cala Bona and Sa Coma (also nice) close by should you want to visit.

Cala d'or is actually very nice, lovely coves, lots if trees, family friendly- not quaint as purpose built but nice enough-Puerto pollensa is also nice , very busy and popular but for obvious reasons, paguera good in a similar way -very popular with the Germans,
