Hi, going to Lanzarote shortly, I've learned UK blue-badges are not now valid in EU Countries, thing is we need one (just for a week), how can I get one (as a UK citizen) so as to park in disabled bays ?, I can't find info about this anywhere !

I’m not sure you can. I’ve used mine in mainland Spain (not touristy) and not had a problem

www.gov.uk/government/publications/blue-badge-using-it-in-the-eu/using-a-blue-badge-in-the-european-union

It varies by county. It states contact the Spanish embassy for Spain

Yes, it varies by country. Lots of EU countries recognise them , but Spain is “undecided”, as PP said above.

I've clicked on Spanish Embassy, nothing there about disabled drivers, no guidance about which department to contact whatsoever.

I think based on this article, your best bet is to contact the tourist board in Lanzarote. There's some contact info here.

I used ds' and didn't have any problem.
