Hello! I'd like to go away for 3-4 days in a few weeks. Can anyone recommend me a place in Europe that meets these criteria:

  • reasonably warm in Feb, so probably southern Europe
  • compact, relatively walkable
  • easy/quick connection from airport to city centre
  • direct flight from London

I'm considering Seville, Palma, Lisbon, Florence if anyone has experiences of these cities, and also very open to other suggestions!

Thank you :)

Seville definitely. A friend of mine is flying to Palermo next week and temp is meant to be about 16 degrees.

Lisbon. Lots to do, good public transport, good value, great food, very compact

Florence is not warm in February. We went last week of April and everyone was wrapped up in jumpers and puffer jackets.

Valencia. Sunny during the day, cold at night. Easily walkable, metro from airport to city centre.

I'd really recommend Seville. We have been to Lisbon and Valencia too, both of which I enjoyed but Seville has been my favourite.

Seville definitely

Or Malaga
