Croatia for DD18 and friend

Hi- DD is hoping to go to Croatia for a few days after A levels with a friend. They want to chill out, see somewhere beautiful and be near the sea. They are probably looking for an air b and b type place to stay. They are open to any ideas really- having trouble choosing which coastal town to stay in. Any suggestions?

Split is lovely, and although the beaches aren’t amazing you can get the boat to some great places like Hvar

Does she like to party? If so, i think Hvar is the place (flight to split then ferry), or could split (no pun intended) the time between Split and Hvar.

Smarty phone network works well in Croatia and doesn't charge for roaming. Hvar is beautiful but expensive, Pag is a more accessible party island. Split is a good option.

Thanks. She isn’t a huge party goer- her main motivation is to go somewhere interesting/ pretty/ warm- but she and friend would like to go out cafe/ bar type places. I think maybe she can get to split and then visit other places if they feel the need- she’s only going for 4 nights
