Disneyland Paris - Fast Pass?

We're looking at booking midweek non school holidays to take our 2 kids (who will be 2 and 3 but very nearly 3 and 4).

What is the likelihood of needing fast passes? I've heard they're basically essential but we're looking at £2k for 4 days of passes for 4 adults and 2 kids.

Has anyone been midweek in September who can advise?

I'm beginning to think a week in Spain all inclusive is going to be the better option here or we're looking at about £5.5k which seems insane!

We went last year in the summer holidays with similar ages children. We didn’t buy fast passes for anything.

I think if you only have a day then fast passes can be useful, but if you have 2 days in each park then you should be able to get round most rides.

I think you’ll be fine term time, mid week. We went August bank holiday weekend and there were certainly queues but they were manageable.

Perfect this is what I was hoping for. We'll have 4 days to do the parks and it's not like they'll be going on the "big" rides so hopefully they'll be fine. I suppose worst case we can buy 1 days pass when we're there if there are some busy rides but no way could I justify 4 days!

How tall are they? They won't be able to go on much, slinky dog, crushers coaster, carousel and small world mostly. I wouldn't bother with fast passes. When we were there crushers was always broken down, the queues for small word were insane so we didn't bother.

Ratatouille was great if they can stay up late enough enough we got three rides just before closing.

I was massively underwhelmed by the whole thing tbh.

You will be fine if you go midweek out of holiday time .

I think midweek in September will be much better than peak holidays which was when I went. The only thing I would say is you might still want the odd fast pass for the adults but with 4 of you it would be easier to split the childcare and you can get them for individual rides rather than the day packages (which you probably don’t need) . When we went it was peak and we used fast passes strategically for a few individual rides so one of us wasn’t stuck with the kids on our own for hours while the other one was doing bigger rides. If your staying on site you can make good use of the extra magic hour and avoid a lot of the mega queues.
