Hit me with your best holiday destinations with kids for a lovely family holiday. UK or Europe, places you've been where the kids have really enjoyed. Lot's to do to keep them busy and fun. Currently 3 and 5 year old girls but thinking over the next few years.

@maranella what!? We're staying in a big room- possibly a suite and it's about £1500 for the week!

When and what board? And Porto sani or sani beach?

6 years ago we spent multiples of this for 10 days half board at Porto Sani

I was place marking. I have no advice but would like to make this thread easy to find as I am also interested. Isn't a flower the official Mumsnet place marker? 😉

Ah we went august summer holidays. Even with pre school aged children I didn’t want to risk mainland Greece after the schools went back. We got 10 days unbroken sun late 20s/early 30s
enjoy, it’s stunning

We did lots of Eurocamp when dd was younger. Normally great pools and lots of onsite activities / playgrounds/trampolines/kids clubs etc Did a mix of cooking/takeaways and meals out. Fave ones over the years:

Les Peneyrals and St Avit Loisirs in the Dordogne
Union Lido and Park Albatros in Italy
Les Ranchisses in the Ardeche

Siblu Lac des Reves and La Carabasse in Languedoc.

Plus various gite complexes with pools.

Agree with Cala d'or
Also Merton hotel Jersey

Sani is fab. It is much much cheaper in April or October but weather can be iffy (though we had glorious sun bathing weather in October). May half term expensive but weather better. August is astronomical and although I love it, I wouldn’t pay August prices (plus August too hot for half the family)!

Verite1 · 04/02/2023 00:52

Oh but also that screen shot was Asterias which is the super expensive hotel. In price order they go - Sani beach, Sani club, Porto Sani, Sani Dunes and Sani Asterias.
