Port Grimaud is a beautiful area with several campsites right on the beach. The port is a Little Venice, full of restaurants, shops and a market and you can take the boat across to St Tropez and buses to Monacco etc.

We have stayed at Domaine des Naiades with Siblu in a mobile home, a walk down big hill to beach, Praries de La mer, with Thomson Al fresco - right on beach next to Port, and Camping des Mures in our Motorhome- parked on the sand!

Look at Esterel. Lovely site.

We stayed at Torreilles in the Languedoc.
A lovely site and a short walk to the village and beach.
There's also a walk along the vines.

Sorry that's going the wrong direction for you.
Friends used to stay in Frejus.
