Hi all
It's my 40th this year and I want a big holiday. We've done lots of Europe all inclusive breaks but want something different this year.
Will be myself, husband, 11 & 14 year old boys who need to be active ALL the time.
Looking at either a week at end of July or 2 weeks end of August. Was looking at Mexico but looks like it's rainy season then so I don't want to risk it.
Also looked at florida but I think that would be too costly.

Any suggestions? We're kind of up for anything as long as plenty of activities for the boys. Last year they did jetskis, scuba and all sorts of watersports and they absolutely loved it.

Can you afford Maldives? Lots of AI resorts cater for teens with scuba diving, snorkelling excursions, jet skis, paddle boarding, kayaking etc

You could combine dubai with Maldives for example.

Definitely wouldn’t do Florida or Mexico in August, it’s super hot and humid and hurricane season. Would go in December or Easter holidays if you want those destinations.

Maldives is the dream for me. I wasn't sure if it would be too relaxed for the boys though?

Depends on the resort OP, some bigger ones cater for families and teenagers and offer a million things under the sun. The snorkelling and diving is second to none and it’s an amazing experience to snorkel with turtles, sharks, mantas etc.

smaller romantic resorts for honeymooners are obviously not suited for your family. You could do a few days Dubai then 5 -8 in the Maldives (Male is 4 hours flight from Dubai).

A cruise with a teen club? They'll take care of keeping them occupied. Look at royal Caribbean for instance

Neilson holidays are fantastic with loads of activities included.
Also recommend green world holidays in Croatia- absolutely amazing trips for teens, think may be the best holiday we have ever been on
