Ideas for Oct Half Term

Hi we’re looking for somewhere warm in oct for a week with our 17year old who is quite hard to please . We went to Gran Canaria last Oct and she was so bored as there wasn’t any English children for her to hang out with there was a language barrier with the German kids .
Can anyone recommend somewhere in Gran Canaria with a nice 4-5 star hotel please ?

Try the Gloria hotels - Gloria Palace Royal or Gloria Palace Amadores, we go every year.

We’ve generally had more success with our dc meeting other children in Cyprus. Holiday Village Aliathon, Olympic Lagoon Resort and Azia Resort have been great.

Would she rather just stay at home OP? At 17 I think she should be almost out of the ungrateful teen stage, I’d be a bit put out if my 17 year old was ‘hard to please’ on holiday. Or could she bring a friend with her?

I'd vote for bringing a friend as well.
You could always sort the accommodation as I'm guessing your dd would have her own room anyway and friend just pays for her flights?

Majorca is lovely in October, somewhere in/near Palma where she could go off shopping etc on her own?

Does it have to be Gran Canaria? Costa Adeje in Tenerife might be worth a look.
