I have BA vouchers from a cancelled 2020 trip which I need to use up before September, so looking to take DD (9) on a city break in May/June.

I'd like to stick to Europe for shorter flight times, flying from London.

Any destinations that you'd recommend that you've enjoyed with kids of similar age?

We loved Lisbon! Absolutely stunning city. We did a tuktuk ride that went to the oldest part of the city and then spent time walking through the main shopping area. There are also hippo tours by river and road which looked great fun. We definitely want to go back sometime.

Lisbon is amazing. Also its only an hour from Sintra which is stunning. We stayed in both and my kids loved both but they REALLY loved Sintra. It's all castles and mountains and just gorgeous

Iceland is amazing. Kids loved it.

Echo a lot of the above - ours enjoyed Rome, Barcelona, Valencia, Paris, Copenhagen all between the ages of about 8-12. Ronn my E probably the most.

We just really enjoyed Stockholm. Did a cool boat trip around the archipelago, Viking museum went down well. There are other child friendly museums too. But it is expensive.
