Tenerife hotel recommendations for hol with teenagers?

I am taking my three teens (19,17,15) away for the first time on my own (post divorce) this summer and they fancy a beach holiday in Tenerife (or anywhere in Spain or Balearics really). Can anyone recommend a hotel that is a) NOT over-run with young kids and b) cosmopolitan - not just full of Brits?

We're looking 4* but not luxury (if only!). Preferably near a small town or village that we can walk to for local restaurants/markets/shops etc? Any thoughts would be hugely appreciated.

Last year my teen dc and I went here:

Las Dalias

A solid 4 star hotel with a good quality AI. We all enjoyed ourselves and I'd definitely return.

Hard Rock Tenerife is very good for that age group. We went a couple of years ago in summer and teen kids loved it

We stay at the Royal Sun Resort in Los Gigantes, it has fantastic views and a mix of nationalities when we were there. It is not a big complex and evening entertainment is over by 10 but the main town is a 10 minute walk away, although its down a steep hill so lots get taxis.

There is great snorkeling and paddleboarding at the beach in town and there is a large marina which does lots of trips.

It's easy to travel around the island as there is a main bus station nearby too and day trips run by Tui to the main tourist attractions.

This is not the hotel for you if you want a bustling and busy holiday, but to lay by the pool with fantastic views you would struggle to find a better place.

Each room has cooking facilities, there is a reasonably priced shop on site and larger supermarkets within walking distance, or a posh restaurant or a buffet style one. The hotel does not offer all inclusive but is half board but you just charge food and drink to your room and it is incredibly cheap.
