Bloody air bnb and their stupid fees!

Looking for a holiday cottage..."£60 a night for your dates"....oh great, click reserve....oh that'll be £120 cleaning fee and £96 service fees. Just fuck off and list the prices properly!

Yes I know they add on cleaning fees and a service charge, but I've never had them this high. Bloody annoying.

Also I’ve turned up at hotels and found that there’s some ‘flood’ which means I’ve been moved to a shitter hotel in a shitty location so I feel slightly safer with Airbnb weirdly

We had an air bnb in Whitby for a few days - it was a fire trap. Top floor above numerous other apartments, only one set of stairs, no fire escape. It was obviously fine that week but if there is ever a fire in that building the people in that little flat would stand no chance at all. Totally unregulated- it’s the last time I will ever use air bnb.

I was just on the verge of booking a non-refundable place the other day when I noticed there was no wifi. What is the point of showing me places that don't meet the criteria I entered!?

There is a thread up now about trying to find hotels where two rooms interconnect, and I swear to God, if the hotel industry could sort this bloody issue out
