Best family holidays in May?

Travelling with DS and DD aged 3 and 1. Wanted somewhere like Ikos or Sani but worried the weather will be hit and miss? This is second week of May.

I'm looking myself so will tag on for ideas.

I was looking at Alcudia as seems super child friendly but don't have a clue! Short flights and transfers would be ideal though.

May in Greece is generally lovely, sunny but not too hot for little ones. The sea won’t be that warm but pools probably ok. You’d be unlucky to get bad weather.

Further south will be warmer so look at the Ikos on Kos perhaps. You might also look at Almyra or Anassa - both in Cyprus which gets warmer earlier than Greece I believe.

I prefer smaller places myself, we had a lovely holiday at Mousses with two little ones. But it’s not luxe.

We went to Corfu in mid May. It was lovely.
