LOT Airlines

Anyone heard of or travelled with LOT Airlines?
Any reviews please? Are they any good? Whats the food like? Economy seats, are they as uncomfortable as they look?

Daughter is travelling from Heathrow - Warsaw Chopin Airport and then onto Seoul and then vice versa with LOT Airlines.

We have never heard of them and shes a bit gutted as others are travelling with airlines such as Qatar and Emirates (attending the WSJ 2023 event in South Korea)

Can anyone tell me what the airline is like so i can put her mind at rest? I suppose because none of us have heard of the airline we are sceptical of them and what to expect on such a long journey.

I've only done short-haul with them but they were perfectly fine. It's Polish national airline, not some funny low-cost airline set up yesterday.

Who booked these flights; was it her own self or was this done online via a third party operator?.

LOT are indeed the Polish national airline. Reviews on them are pretty mixed.

Thanks for your reply...We looked them up on YouTube and discovered they are a very old but established airline with a small amount of planes.

It was via a 3rd party as its a huge Scout Jamboree event she is attending so its a group booking for her unit there is 40 in the unit on this flight.
We found them on YouTube and discovered they are an old but established company which has put minds at rest.

Husband flies with LOT for work pretty often (short haul only) always been fine! Had a bit of an issue with really old uncomfortable planes when the Boeing 737 MAX planes were all out of service and being checked as they have quite a few of those in the fleet. They are all back in service now I believe

I was wondering this too. DS is mightily fed up that he isn't going first class Emirates 🙄😂
