Small villa holiday recommendations

After a number of package & tour holidays, I really fancy a small villa with pool holiday.

Looking from 2nd week in July to end of August.

Can fly from Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham. Anywhere within 3/4 hours of UK. Not fussed about beaches and will hire a car as we live exploring.

Would like a private pool (happy with the above ground ones) but must be 2 beds (2 adults + 1x 17 year old), and have decent WiFi.

Budget £2k, including flights

Any recommendations on destination?
Bonus points on specific villas!

I’m sceptical that 2k will cover flights for four people plus a two bedroom villa with private pool at that time of year. I think you’re better off looking at a Eurocamp style holiday.

We stayed here for Christmas 2021 and it was amazing! Well within your budget too and there is still availability for July and August.

Perfect for exploring - the volcano Teide and the mountains of North Tenerife were easily accessible. It really was heavenly!

I think Airbnb is the answer as you won’t find a package villa deal for your budget at that time of year so will need to book accommodation and flights separately. I’ve been on some lovely villa holidays in the Greek Islands but only through a tour operator so can’t recommend anything specific, I’m afraid. But Zakynthos is beautiful as long as you are well away from Laganas!
