Crete All Inclusive

We're after booking Crete in the school summer holidays for me, DH and twins aged 8.
We want somewhere with a la carte AI, near to stuff, with seperate sleeping areas for us and kids, and a couple of water slides. Plus a decent beach.
We've narrowed it down (I think) to Mitsis Rinela or Nana Golden beach. Has anyone been to either and can give me your thoughts please? Or recommend another place that ticks boxes?

Nana golden beach is great. lots of pools including water park, kids club looks fun.
You won’t be able to eat a la carte every night but should be able to some, we could on half of them and could have done more if we were more flexible with timing.

There isn’t much in walking distance but the resort itself is really big and you could hire a car or take a taxi or bus to go places.
