Stylish comfortable sandals?

Hi all,

I'm going on a city break in June and it will be warm there, sandal weather.

I'm struggling to find any sandals that look comfortable for spending all day exploring a city in the heat that don't look ugly!

I've seen people suggest Teva and Birkenstock but this style doesn't appeal to me.

Has anyone any suggestions? I'll be going to bars etc during the day too so that's why I would like them to be comfortable and attractive!

The types of sandals I've found both comfortable and attractive are basically like a gladiator style to hold your feet in place and not a completely flat sole but some arch support, preferably in soft real leather.
Also in a nice colour maybe with some embellishment.

I've found comfortable sandals which fit the brief in Dune & also River Island before.

How about these from Dune? The reviews say they are comfortable to wear all day.

Will you be doing a lot of walking? I think you need some give / squashiness to the sole and arch support for lots of walking.

Look at Ugg sandals- really soft sole and perfect for all day

You want vionics. Arch support, padding and look like regular sandals. Some even have the same strapping arrangements as walking sandals whilst definitely not looking like walking sandals

I'm no expert but I know what works for me. Definitely NOT flat flat anything, I need a bit of support and as a pp said "squashiness". Try a few different styles on and see which is best for you. Allow for feet swelling in the heat too so watch out for rubbing etc.

I am not bothered by brand or fashion. If a Primark sandal works, it works for me. Honestly if I find a sandal that is good for me I usually buy two pairs at the same time. Remember no one but you cares what you have on your feet. Do you remember what sandals anyone was wearing during the Summer?

Salt water are really good, long lasting and comfy. The sun-san ones with thicker soles have better arch support for all day walking although maybe lose a couple of style points. www.salt-watersandals.com/gb-en/women-landing

I really love my DM sandals. I wore them all summer and didn't have a single blister or rub.

I have a couple of different pairs from Skechers. Not super fashion or anything but very comfortable for walking.
