OTC medication to France?

Does anyone have any idea how this works?

I have read this and it seems that OTC medication is fine (with no restrictions bar narcotic or psychotropic drugs) to carry.

Sorry if its obvious. This is the first time I've travelled since exiting the EU and also my first time ever travelling myself so everything seems a tad more anxiety inducing.

Pretty much as described by the French Gov page you linked to, it's fairly low key.

The reality is you're unlikely to be checked by customs on entering France but random checks do happen.

If you are checked the officers are not usually bothered by run of the mill OTC medication in small amounts.

In any case where prescriptions are involved have a copy available.
