We've booked Eurotunnel tickets for a 2 week driving holiday in early August and looking for recommendations for places to stay. We did similar last year and stayed in Angers, Angeles sur Mer, Bourges and Le Treport. Looking for recommendations for nice towns/resorts/accommodation. We have 2 children who will be 6 and 8. Thank you!

Not sure if you are interested in Eurocamp - but I have some recommendations...

MissAmbrosia thank you. We're open to anything really, so any Eurocamp recommendations would be much appreciated!

Happy to consider hotels (we all shared a room last time with kids on sofa bed and it was ok) especially if they have a nice pool, as well as apartment, Airbnb..

Do you have any ideas about what general route you want to take?

If you need a place to overnight a few hours from Calais, my kids loved this place. A western, cowboy style place. Fab wagon trains to stay in.

We drove to morzine in the alps last year. Lots to do if you get the pass and it's really cheap accommodation compared to the UK.

This place is about an hour south of Calais - a beach covered in seals!
