Going to Paris is a few weeks with a friend.

We are staying near the Louvre, looking for some recommended restaurants and cafe's for lunch and dinner, cute places where we can avoid average touristy food. . Would like one evening to be somewhere with a nice view and nice food.

No view, but this place is just wonderful. It's a train station restaurant and I am dying to go back.

Grand Colbert is great for a late night meal. No external view, but such an interesting place inside.

We went to firmin le barbier last april, the food was amazing and the waitress was something else. Lovely cocktails too. Tiny bit amazing.
Its not far from the Eiffel Tower if I remember right

When our kids were younger, we’d often do a couple of nights at Hippopotamus.
