We are not interested in shows. Just the main tourist attractions for pre teen dc. I know people book ahead for london eye. Any other sites that must be booked ahead?

We failed to get tickets for the Natural History Museum (they are free, but it books up) at the October half term. No problem for Science museum, British Museum or Tate Modern.

There's a combined ticket for a river cruise, London eye and aquarium that saves money and there's a pre bookable ticket for the open top bus aswell that's significantly cheaper

Also if you want to do the Tower of London we booked for that too.

The rainforest cafe is nice for children too but booking essential

Sky garden if you want to do it, as well as the museums listed above

Think you have to book a lot things now (as above) the museums are free but you have to prebook online. Last year you couldn't book some on the day but I think that's changed now.

If you know your plans, booking meals can be good. I was on a London dayout and booked pizza express in advance. It enabled me to walk past about 20 people in the queue.

Book all museums.

Anything that’ll let you book, do!
