Hi as above... Our current suitcases are over 25 years old and heavy { 6kgs>... They also don't wheel well any more and fall over often. .

Confused by huge range... Don't mind paying for quality... But shocked at the prices tbh!!! . Any recommendations.... Soft or hard?

Looking at amazon/ American tourister / samsonite... Any other brands you like?

We love our Tripp cases! The wheels turn 360 so they just glide along when you walk :)

TK Maxx.
Go see what is there. You don't want them too large - very easy to overfill.

Another vote for Tripp. They are hard and durable on the outside. You can fit loads and loads of stuff in them. Plus they are so easy to pull and glide, swivel so easily. Mines are years old and have no doubt been flung about but still look like new.

I'm surprised with the quality of Tripp. Much cheaper than Samsonite etc but the ones we have are much more durable than the ones that cost double the price.

Just get some skateboard stickers or something as loads of people will have the same cases at baggage reclaim.

I love our Tripp cases - part of the reason I chose them was the pattern so I can spot them on the carousel from a distance.

Tripp also have good sales.

I like hard cases for durability but I dislike the clamshell style. Tedious to pack and sandwich together. So for that reason I go for soft expandable cases.
Look at TKmaxx or matalan.

We bought our soft sided TRIPP cases from Matalan. They've been used a lot and have been a good choice.

Primark and I saw some it ones in b and m recently

Replaced our 15 year old cases with Tripp ones last year. Very pleased with them and they're a joy to pull around!
Ours are mint green metallic so easy to spot!

They have lots of reductions on their website.

Floralnomad · 15/01/2023 15:41

M & S have some nice ones

I like antler

poppym12 · 18/01/2023 10:22

Mine are Revelation but I've just looked for them (they were owned by antler) and it doesn't look like you can get them now. Shame as mine have lasted well for many many trips.

I prefer hard shell with 360° spinner wheels.
