Bahia Tenerife or Melia

Looking at either of these for Oct half term.

Kids are 5,3,18months.

Melia is the most expensive but looks nicer. Bahia is AI which would be convenient but very out off by the Disney world style castle images.... but then, it's all about the kids!

Any views!?

Melia has a baby club (for an additional cost) if that makes any difference.

I'm in the exact same position OP so interested in answers. Melia is much cheaper for when we want to go and was wondering why

Factor in the wind element at Fantasia; it's a very windy resort so if weather isn't on your side it could feel cold. Read the trip advisor reviews from October and see how people found the wind/weather to give you a better idea?

I stayed at San blas which is right next to fantasia and I remember people diving into the pool after their newspapers or towels when they flew off the sun beds Grin it was summer and warm so didn't matter too much but it may further out of season.

Have stayed at the Melia (pre kids) and it was exquisite! Have heard it's gone slightly downhill since I went but still firmly one of the best hotels for 5* in Tenerife.

Have you also considered Roca Nivaria OP?
