I just moved to Australia on Sunday, i have a 9 and a half month old baby boy.
We are staying with my parents (grandparents) who he has never seen.

He is very very unsettled (to be expected) but i cant put him down otherwise he screams the place down, and wont go to nanny and grandad (again to be expected).

The pharmacist has given me Phenergen to help his body clock adjust.

Does anyone have any other suggestions to help him settle in.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you fly? Could he have blocked ears? I don;t know what to do about it tho, maybe check them for wax?
Or is it really hot out there? Maybe he doesnt like the heat, it's not like we get any of that here!

If it isn't a problem with health

9 months is deffo the time for separation anxiety and so he has noticed everything is new and also new people

TBH I wouldn't expect him to go to any GP for a few weeks anyway and also for him to cry when uput down is totally normal

Imagine if you were taken and put on the moon you would feel weird wouldn't you?

Good luck
