Where has been your favourite couples hotel and holiday destination?

I fancy Thailand or Croatia maybe?

Looking for a relaxing 2 week hol with my DH. Need inspiration please!

Favourite hotel holiday - Meet me there in Ghana. World beating and simple. Would love to go back. And cheap about 20 dollars a night for the Honeymoon hut.

Favourite hotel no expense spared is La Samana in St Martin - simply out of this world - was about $500 dollars a night when we stayed.

Thailand - we’re currently staying in the Holiday Inn Resort Phuket we are in the Busakorn Villas premium rooms - been here for 12 nights and a fantastic hotel - really enjoyed Phuket - a bit too touristy for us but it’s been awesome. Fly to Bangkok for a few nights tomorrow.

Favourite holiday with my DH was Japan. We travelled around a lot so stayed at different places but equally had plenty of time to relax at ryokans. My favourite hotel there was the Park Hyatt.

I also loved a road trip around Arizona and California and stayed at Sedona Enchantment Resort which was great for the spa, lovely food and for just relaxing with amazing views.

If you’re interested in Croatia, try combining a small cruise with a stay on the ‘mainland’. We sailed from Split to Dubrovnik over a week and spent each evening on a different island. Breakfast and lunch on the boat and regular stops for swimming then the evening meal and drinks on shore each night. A great way to see more of the country.

If you fancy Thailand - The Sala in Phuket and Centara Grand Beach Resort in Krabi are both lovely

These days I rarely stay in hotels so no up to date recommendations but you say you're considering Croatia, try a road trip from Zagreb to Cavtat, taking in a couple of islands by ferry from Split. The scenery is amazing. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

One of my favourite places was Cavtat in Croatia but would not stay there two weeks , as someone else suggested with two weeks I would go to different places in Croatia as well.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Loved it there.

Secrets Vallarta Bay is a great adults only hotel.
