I've given up looking abroad as it's just so expensive during school holidays...! Does anyone know of a hotel in UK with the following please..???

  • walking distance to sandy beach
  • swimming pool
  • sports court (tennis, football or basketball)
  • water slide
  • self catering
Or anywhere like this abroad that they could recommend please... my head is all boggled from all my google searching!! TIA

A self catering hotel is a bit of a contradiction in terms. And anywhere remotely reasonably priced that ticks all your boxes will be booked up years in advance.

I think you’re best off looking for a holiday park with an on-site restaurant. Have a look at Warmwell and Haven Hafan Y Mor. Or maybe Eurocamp?

You've got a good point there. Ugh why's it so expensive? Not been away since 2018 😢

Can you clarify what a self catering hotel is?
Also, when are you thinking of going? Summer holidays? Easter?

What about Hoburne Park, near Avon Beach in Dorset. Has lovely indoor and outdoor pools.but no water slide, however it ticks all the other boxes. We went there for years when the kids were younger.

We shop and cook our own lunch / breakfast. Prob go out for dinner.
