Australian evisitor visa

I have not received any email confirmation of Australian evisitor visa which we applied for on 4 January but I have a grant number. I checked on VEVO and there is a grant number and it says Visa Status 'in effect'.
Is this enough? I don't know why neither myself or my husband have received a confirmation email and we are getting worried. I have checked spam etc. and can't find any contact help. Anyone else had these problems?

Which website did you use?. Was it the official Australian Government based one?

Thanks, yes, that was the website I used and I checked on it and a grant number is given so I am thinking the visa has been granted, but
just don't understand why I haven't received an email confirmation.

Hi there, i applied for 3 evisitor visas on the 3rd January and although it says granted in my immi account and finalised.... i have had no letter either..... have you had any luck yet?

Hi Smillea, your situation sounds exactly the same as mine! We decided to apply for an ETA on the app as still hadn't heard anything - which is quite simple to use, though a bit scary as it scans all your passport information direct from the passport. You are then given the option to check to see if you have a visa already and when I did that it said we did have our visas, giving our grant numbers (I took a screenshot) and if we applied for another visa it would not be valid until the existing one ran out (2024). From this, I am assuming, that we definitely do have visas! We are flying out in a couple of weeks so fingers crossed. Your situation sounds exactly that same as ours. I don't know why we are not getting email verification but hopefully all ok. Have a good trip.
