So, very lucky to be able to be considering a one-week break in October (last two weeks for half term). I have two boys - 13 and 15 then. Looking to go anywhere where the weather might be nice and will interest the teens.
Considering:
- Tokyo (Younger son's dream destination, meant to go before Covid struck)
- New York (Again, had trip cancelled for Covid)
- Caribbean (Never been, not sure if teens will enjoy and the weather)
- Cuba (My bucket list, not sure if teens will enjoy)
- Egypt (Again, my bucket list but not sure how safe it currently is and weather in October
Budget would be £4K in total for flights and accommodation. Not keen on all-inclusive unless it was the Maldives or resort-style holiday which we have never done.
Should I be looking nearer afield? I went to Lanzarote for the first time in Feb last year and loved it. But was with an ex and we were happy to sight see and chill, not sure if the teens will like it.
We are going to Morocca in May for a surfing holiday and rented an apartment. Inspiration, anyone? Thanks!
