Thinking of taking DD who will be nearly 4 in mid April. Anyone been at this time of year? Was it warm enough to swim/pool lounge and were most things open for the season?

We regularly visit Mallorca in April and it can be as warm and sunny as a 'good' British summer and it can be wet, cold and windy. Certainly the trend over the last few years has been for it to be drier and warmer in April but there are no guarantees. The sea is very cold and the evenings get cold quickly when the sun sets. Try and get a hotel with a heated pool.

We went first weekend of May last year, had one lovely day and two more overcast. The sea was cold but the resort was open and reasonably busy (Port de Soller).

Okay-thanks for the info. We may go for July to guarantee the weather. Slightly concerned that it’ll be too hot😂 Perhaps I’m not easily pleased 😂
