Barcelona -Aparthotel recommendations please

Looking for a great location and good quality accommodation - any recommendations please?

I stayed here and really liked it. I think they have other options in different parts of the city but everywhere is walkable/accessible by metro.

I stayed at Eric Vokel apartments in the summer. These are actual apartments so may not be quite what you're looking for. I've linked to the one we stayed at (on Gran Via de las Corts Catalanes) as this is a nice location because it's less touristy than the others, but you might want something closer to the Ramblas, Gothic Quarter, etc. Eric Vokel also has two locations near Sagrada Familia.

The apartments were excellent, reception staff fantastic. As you might expect in an older building, there was some noise from other guests (including one who ran the washing machine at midnight). I really hate noise from other people and I found it pretty reasonable.

Years ago I stayed at the Citadines Apart'hotel actually on the Ramblas, so I can't say what it's like now. The location is super touristy and I personally like to stay away from the Ramblas but it might be more what you're looking for.

Great location, nice spacious apartments.
