Is there one that's close enough drive to visit other things?

We'll be a group of 5. Two adults and 6th form and uni age young people.

De Eemhof has the best location for days out, but it’s also one of the furthest to drive to. It’s got an amazing choice of watersports.

De Kempervennan is great and there are more than enough activities for teens.

MissAmbrosia · 06/01/2023 20:42

2nd De Kempervennen as a CP destination. It's not especially near things though if you want to have days out. Eindhoven is not hugely exciting. If you want to visit places say 30 mins away I would stay nearer the coast. Look also at Roompot.com. If your group is mostly nearly adults I would go for location over the wave pool/rapids.

The Hague, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Leiden, Delft, Breda would be top picks for visiting. Or staying in Zeeland where you have Middelburg, Goes, Zierikzee etc which are all lovely towns. And the Neeltje Jans Deltapark. Port Zeeland might work in that case.

De Kempervennen is great for older kids. Also De Efteling Theme park is only an hours drive and is brilliant for all ages.

Duinrell is also worth looking at. Plenty to do in the attached (small) theme park. Swimming pool also great.
Easy cycle to wassenaar (with the best ice cream shop!) , beach, Leiden or drive/train to Amsterdam and the Hague.

definitely done a few love them and but also loads to do near the various ones. Love CP in Belgium and the Netherlands

Was going to say this too.

Port Zeeland was going to be my first choice but it is one that has not been renovated and there are bad reviews about the state of the accommodation and the park itself.

Hijacking the thread!! Myself, two teens and an 8yr old are off to Het Meerdal Centre Parcs in the Netherlands this august. I'm looking to book up activities. Any hints and tips at all? Anyone been to Toverland?

Another vote for Duinrell, easily enough for a week (we have a 17 and 19 year old). Amsterdam, Den Haag, Leiden, Rotterdam, cycle to beach, mall of Netherlands, water park etc
