Hi

I am interested in ideas of places to go.
DD will be 2.5.
We aren't hugely keen on hotels/big resorts - prefer to find an Air bnb or villa rental so we can eat out/cook.
Looking for a location that is:

Child friendly
Near beaches
Near a village or town with lots of restaraunts/market etc
Short flight from the UK
Not requiring a car to get around

Ideally interested in Italy/Portugal/Spain

Any lovely places that spring to mind, please share!

Antibes/Juan Les Pins flying into Nice - though not in August.

I'd recommend somewhere with public transport to the city centre so that you don't need to bring a car seat.

What time of year and what weather do you want?

You could also look at the departures from your local airport to see places you may not have considered.

Malaga
Barcelona
Palma (though the beaches aren't really in the city)

Thank you.

Flying from London so unlimited destinations really.

We can go anytime but most likely april/may hoping for sun but not too hot.

We love the algarve and would like to find sandy beaches but also local shops and restaraunts with playgrounds and lots of places to walk to

We brought our 6 month old to Lagos in Portugal in September this year, it was fabulous. It's an easy flight to Faro then you can rent a car or get a taxi to Lagos. There are beautiful child-friendly beaches, a small city centre, gorgeous food and it's also pretty cheap. Would definitely recommend!

Costa Teguise (excuse spelling) Lanzarote. I know at times lanzarote has had a bit of bad press but it's a lovely island (going up to the volcano is a must) with lots to explore and its family friendly.

Thank you, Lagos is on my list and I will also look at Lanzarote.

Barcelona will be going for a long weekend

Appreciate all the suggestions!

Its good to narrow down areas as when your searching for apartment rentals it's a minefield if you don't now where or when you are going !!

Can’t go wrong with Majorca and so much choice of where to stay.
