Holiday with teens Malaga area?

Travelling with older teens who fell in love with Spain on holiday last year when we went to sitges area, was thinking Malaga area but not sure where to start as I keep seeing city breaks but not holidays! kids are active and we like a good walk and good food, happy to stay in a few different locations if it meant we saw more, any recommendations?

If you want holidays in the Malaga area, I'd search for the resort towns nearby - Benalmadena, Fuengirola, etc, which would be the equivalent of Sitges. Malaga is a nice city and if you want to base yourselves there for a week just do an Easyjet holidays or Jet2 holidays package - if you book your flights they'll offer you hotels, car hire and whatever other add-ons you want.

Nerja just up the coast is a nice resort nice restaurants on the beach. And some good day trips.
