Booking with love holidays

Hi does anybody have any experience with booking family holidays through love holidays? I am wanting to book a First family holiday abroad but the likes of tui, first choice, jet2 or all very expensive I came across love holidays and they are so much cheaper even when you add all the extras on that you would get with a travel agent. I am very wary before booking so would love some feedback from other people with experience booking through these before I commit many thanks for reading and taking time to read this!!.

I booked a trip to lanzorate with them before lockdown and everything went plain sailing in my experience with the company. I've no complaints, I have a few friends who search it for holiday and basically use the information to book their own holiday flights and accommodation. Best of luck with your holiday search.

Funny that as Love Holidays featured on that BBC Watchdog programme this morning and it wasn't anything good.

We have booked with them a few times and never had a problem.

Terrible company who should have gone out of business before now. Any company that removes themselves from being part of ABTA and ATOL just to avoid giving people refunds for holidays they cancelled should not be in business. Used them pre COVID once without issue, had another holiday booked (they cancelled) and had no end of issues. It took 12 months to get my money refunded.

They were on rip off Britain this morning just FYI.

I booked with them in 2018 and had no issues with them. I have heard bad things since though.. especially with holidays being cancelled with the lockdowns.

You might be better booking flights and accommodation separately. Usually works out cheaper than TUI.

Also have found Jet2 to be cheaper than TUI.

They treated customers appallingly over the covid holiday cancellations. So many people never got refunds.
But I'm not sure what they are like now.

I've booked with them a couple of times and had no issues. Haven't since Covid though so maybe they've gone down the pan since. I like that they give you various options to pay.

I've always booked with thomascook.com for a stress free experience and peace of mind. Today, I needed to use their WhatsApp chat service to amend something on my booking. I was connected to Sasha who steadily helped me throughout the day, was a great communicator, and kept in touch even if there were no further updates (just to let me know I hadn't been forgotten!). I got the result I needed the same day and all the amended paperwork via email directly afterwards. Another positive experience with booking a holiday and would definitely recommend.
